Discipline

  • Irregular attendance at school, habitual laziness, disobedience, objectionable moral influence, intentional discourtesy or disrespect to teachers, are each sufficient cause for dismissal.
  • Any student who is found to have done damage of any kind in the class room or anywhere in the premises of the school has to make good the damage done.
  • All should be particularly careful to avoid throwing of food, papers etc. anywhere in the school premises except in the bins provided for the purpose.
  • No late arrival to school may be admitted to class without the principal’s signature on the Absence Record page in the School Diary. The teachers will also sign the Absence Record Page before admitting the pupil to class.
  • No pupil may leave the School premises during school hours (recess time included) without the written permission from the principal.
  • The school is not responsible for the loss of books, pens, money etc. each student is responsible for his/ her things. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles like expensive watches, ornaments or fountain pens to School Books and other property must be marked as far as possible, with the owner’s name.

Recommendation to Parents

  • Co-operation between parents and school management is essential for the successful growth and development of the child.
  • Parents are requested to co-operate with school in enforcing regularity and discipline, seeing their children prepare their daily lessons and take a keen interest in all the activities of the school.
  • It is the duty of parents to see that their children come to school neatly dressed and in time for classes.
  • Parents are informed that occasional report and recommendations from the teachers are made in the school calendar which they are requested to sign as a proof of having read them.
  • Parents are particularly expected to sign the reports. This is done on open days, when parents visit the school and meet the teacher.
  • Parents are not allowed to see the children or interview the class teachers during working hours without the sanction of the principal.
  • Private tuitions are not encouraged. If they are necessary, the Principal must be consulted irrespective whether the tuitions are conducted in or outside the school premises.
  • In matter of admissions, detention of a pupil in class and regulations of the school, the decision of the Principal is final, and shall not be challenged.
  • Children whose school fees fail into arrears are liable to be debarred from attending school and from giving all the tests; neither their report cards, nor transfer certificates will be issued, till all accounts are fully settled.
  • A pupil seeking admission must produce his date of birth certificate issued by the MunicipaIf any employee demands any undue favour, parents are requested to bring it to the notice of the Principal.l authorities or a Baptismal certificate, if a Christian.
  • Students must come to the school in the prescribed school uniform.
  • No exchange of gifts in cash or kind is permitted on birthdays and other occasions.
  • If any employee demands any undue favour, parents are requested to bring it to the notice of the Principal.

Absence

  • Leave absence is granted only for serious reasons and on submission of a written application in advance.
  • Appointment with doctors etc. should as far as possible be made outside the school hours.
  • The name of the student who does not rejoin the school within three days of the commencement of a term shall be struck off the rolls unless leave has been previously applied for and granted by the head of the institution.
  • In case of the absence without leave pupil must have the reasons of absence certificate by the parents or doctor's certificate is essential for resuming the class.
  • Sectional holidays pertaining to the child's creed will be granted only on previous written application.
